Awarding Organisation
CIRO is proud to be working in collaboration with employer organisations and industry stakeholders to create a range of learning programmes and qualifications designed to support the rail workforce and raise professional standards by…
Our Testimony
Under the authority of a Royal Charter, CIRO are permitted to create qualifications, awards and learning programmes. Our approach is a collaborative one, working closely with industry leaders, subject matter experts and relevant stakeholders to create nationally important potential qualifications. We recently partnered with Network Rail to launch three levels of capacity planning learning programmes.
Endorsed Courses
An endorsed course is designed, delivered and assessed by a Centre that has been approved and recognised by CIRO Awarding Organisation as a valuable and suitable programme for learners. When CIRO Awarding Organisation endorses a programme of learning, it signifies our trust in your capability to create and provide exclusive learning within your areas of expertise.
Develop a Qualification
Whether it is creating a new qualification specific to your organisation or joining in the national sector specific qualifications which your organisation would like to participate in, the CIRO Awarding Organisation is here to guide you through every step. We run subject matter expert groups on most rail operations topics continuously.
“By collaborating closely and harnessing our collective expertise, Network Rail and CIRO have created something which will enhance the training experience of our Operational planners, and ultimately raise the standards for our organisation and wider industry. Our teams have worked hard over the past few years to bring this to reality and were delighted to see the first Operational planners and Specialists coming through the programme”.
