The closing event of our season of talks to celebrate twenty-five years of our programmes in Psychology at Maynooth University, was opened by MU President Prof. Eeva Leinonen and Prof. Deirdre Desmond. Dr. Cassidy’s talk on Navigating new frontiers in Irish Psychology, concerned our need to reconsider our moral obligations and strategies regarding inclusivity in the provision of mental health services. It was followed by an impressive panel discussion featuring Dr. Cassidy, Alumna and former President of the PSI, Dr. Anne Kehoe, and former PSI President Dr. Ian O’Grady. The panel was chaired by Prof. Andrew Coogan from the MU Department of Psychology.
